A good landscape plan starts with the site as it is: the sun, the soil, where the water goes, and how you want to live outside.
Our design work is practical, not theoretical. We plan what we build ourselves, so every recommendation accounts for installation, irrigation, lighting and upkeep from the start. The result is a plan you can install all at once or in phases, with a clear picture of what each phase involves.
Unplugged Designs provides landscape design and planning services. We are not a licensed landscape architecture firm. Projects that need engineered or sealed drawings are referred to the right professional.
What a plan covers
Every layer of the yard, planned together.
Plants, water, light and hardscape affect each other. Planning them together avoids tearing out one to fix another.
Planting & plant selection
Palms, shrubs, hedges, ground covers and accent plants chosen for your light, soil and salt exposure, with room left for how big they get.
Bed layout & borders
Bed shapes, edging and borders that frame the house, make mowing simpler and look clean year-round.
Florida conditions
Sandy soil, heavy summer rain, dry spells and full sun. We plan soil amendments, spacing and plant choices to suit.
Hardscape integration
Paver walkways, patios and pads placed to connect the spaces you use, with the base and drainage planned beneath them.
Irrigation & drainage
Zones grouped by plant needs, drip where it makes sense, and grading or French drains where water collects.
Lighting & materials
Low-voltage lighting for palms, paths and entries, plus mulch, rock or shell chosen for looks, drainage and upkeep.

HOA or ARC approval
If your community requires Architectural Review Committee approval, we can help you pull together the plant lists, materials and layout the review usually asks for. The association makes the decision; we can’t approve projects or guarantee approval.
